Hi, my name is Rho. I am an instructor/phd candidate at Vanderbilt and I manage a restaurant downtown. I'm looking for a roommate to sublet my large second bedroom for the summer and potentially next year. I am very flexible with the lease time... period. I live in a PERFECT location for grad or med students/professionals - 10-minute walk to Vanderbilt med center and campus, 12-minute walk to the Vandy Rec Center, right in mid Hillsboro Village, right next to a park, and close to coffee shops, restaurants, the post office, and the bus that goes downtown.
The apt. is fully furnished and there is a queen bed, L desk, desk chair, bookshelf, lamps, and side tables in the bedroom. The bathroom is huge with a private toilet and shower/bath. I also have my own half bath in my bedroom where I keep the cat boxes (so no mess or smell in main bathroom). The apt. complex takes great care of the facilities, very clean and safe. 1400/mo. includes ALL utilities and internet, PLUS streaming services AND daily necessities such as dish soap, cleaning supplies, cooking equipment, and some spices and pantry items. There is a washer/dryer in unit.
I have two small cats. They are very clean and independent. I also have a bi-weekly cleaning service that does a deep clean.
I work about 75 hours a week, so I am often not at home.
