Summer Fully-Furnished Bedroom w/ Ensuite Bathroom! 15 walk to Vandy Main Campus/Peabody/VUMC

Overview: Fully-furnished bedroom in a 3b/3.5b house. Rent is $950 per month, utilities are about $100-150 a month. The house is a short 15-minute walk from Central Library, the Law School, Owen Business School, Wilson Hall, Peabody campus, and... Vanderbilt Medical Center. The sublease runs through June 1-July 31st.

The Space: The bedroom is a sun-filled top-floor corner unit. The bedroom is fully furnished with a full-size bed, a nightstand, a desk and desk chair, a large dresser, and a large closet. Your room is approximately 15 by 15 ft and has two large, south-facing windows. You have a private full bathroom that has lots of storage. Downstairs there’s a spacious kitchen, a full-size washer/dryer, and a large open-concept living room and dining room. The living room and dining room areas downstairs are fully furnished and the kitchen is fully stocked with most appliances. There is also a pantry downstairs. If you have a car, there’s street parking in front of the house.

Location: We’re on a quiet street a block down from Music Row, nestled in the neighborhood called Edgehill. Vanderbilt Main Campus, Peabody Campus, and VUMC are a 15-minute walk away. Around the neighborhood, there are two adorable coffee shops, a 5-minute walk away: The Well and Silver Fox. You also get all of the liveliness along 21st Ave. Walkable restaurants include CVS, Chipotle, Subway, Dunkin Donuts, Panera, Starbucks, CAVA, and Ben & Jerry’s. There are also several restaurants/bars within a 5-minute walk away, including Barcelona Wine Bar, Sadies’s, Van Leeuwen Ice Cream, Old Glory, Egghill (my favorite!), Bella Napoli Pizzeria, and Jack Brown’s Beer & Burger Joint.

About me: I am a third-year PhD student who will be off campus in the summer for an internship. Since I will be away for the summer, I am looking for a woman who is kind, friendly, respects shared spaces, and pays the rent and utilities on time.

About the roommates: You'll be sharing the house with my two awesome roommates: a Vandy PhD student in Anthropology and a PharmD student at Belmont University, both women in their twenties. They like to keep the common living areas clean and neat. They are super friendly and enjoy exploring Nashville on the weekends. They like hanging out in the evenings but also respect each other’s space and alone time!

About you: You are a kind, friendly woman, respectful of common areas, responsible, and communicative.

This sublease is only available for the summer, making it ideal for someone new to the area, such as an incoming graduate student looking for a temporary place within walking distance of campus, with the intention of finding a more permanent residence in August. Or, an intern who is only looking for housing in June and July.

If you are interested, please send a message with a little blurb about yourself. I am happy to give you a tour if you are in the area! There is also a video tour linked in this listing.
